Body, Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman “Rick” Body Jr., age 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at his home in Red Sulphur, WV. Born September 20, 1948, in Peterstown, WV, he was the son of Eva “Sue” Wilson Bouldin of Peterstown, WV, and the late Dick Body.

Rick was a member of the graduating class of 1967 from Peterstown High School, where he was proud to be a member of the all-state band. He worked and retired as an industrial engineer after working for numerous engineering companies.

In addition to his mother, survivors include one brother, Tommy Bouldin of Peterstown, WV; one sister, Debbie Allen and husband Benny of Peterstown, WV; one daughter, Kim Munsey and husband Tim of Pearisburg, VA; one son, Derick Body and wife Stephanie of Pearisburg, VA; and several grandchildren. Also surviving are Rick’s many facebook friends, whom he loved, and his special friends, Emory and Marlene Williams of Peterstown, WV.
