Blevins, Roxie Hutchison

Roxie Hutchison Blevins, 82, of Riner, Va., passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009, at University Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. She was born in New Castle, Va., September 29, 1926 the daughter of the late Cecil and Sadie Holden Hutchison. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blevins she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James Blevins, Michael and Reba May Blevins, Robert and Ok Chu Blevins and Danny and Carlyn Blevins; brothers, Henry and Barbara Hutchison, Jerry and Linda Hutchison; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Cross Road Christian Church, Craig County, conducted by the Rev. James Bradley with burial in the Church Cemetery.
