Blevins, Cecil Ray

Cecil Ray Blevins, age 76 of Dublin passed away Monday January 19, 2015. Born June 7, 1938 in Smyth County he was the son of the late Mathel & Lannie Huffman Blevins.

Two brothers; Everett & Harvey Blevins, three sisters; Agnes Callahan, Helen Duncan, Barbara Blevins and son-in-law; Randy Widner also preceded him in death.

He was a member of Truckstop Ministries in Ft. Chiswell and loved & played bluegrass music on the guitar.He is survived by his

Wife- Virginia Ann Vaughan Blevins – Dublin.

Daughters- Patricia & James “Robbie” Williams – Austinville Judy Widner – Hickory, NC, Deborah Neice – Dublin.

Seven Grandchildren- Kevin & Angela Likens, Corey Likens, Regan & Derek Price, Josh & Jennifer Widner, Crystal & Mike Wilson, Danielle Long & companion, Robert Tillman Ashley Metz & companion, Jeremy McPeak

Sisters- Betty Blevins – Roanoke, Irene Porter – Austinville.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday evening at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. John Blessing officiating . Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin on Friday.
