Sarah Blecher of Blacksburg passed from this life at the Willows Center of Warm Hearth on Aug. 16, 2015, just twelve days short of her one hundredth birthday. She came to the USA from Poland as a little girl and lived most of her life in New York City before moving to Blacksburg.

She was the last of her generation in our family, preceded in death by her loving husband, David, her siblings, David’s siblings and their spouses. She is survived by two sons, Marvin and Mark, three grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael and Lee and four great-grandchildren, Dara, Sydney, Olivia and Shai. To all she gave unbounded love. Her memory will be a source of life enrichment for our family. The family will hold private services. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
