Randy H. Blankenship, 48, of Narrows, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born on June 11, 1963, and was preceded in death by his father, Wesley H. Blankenship; grandparents, Claude and Hester Spicer, and Claude and Claire Blankenship; aunts Bonnie Stables, Patricia Sexton, Debra and Valerie Spicer; and a special cousin, Deanna Mitchell. He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Melanson; brothers, Tony and Brian Blankenship; nephews, Aaron, Zachary, Dustin and Devon Blankenship; his special fiance, the love of his life, Stephanie Hudson; his aunt, Rosie Lauver, several cousins and many special friends. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows, with Pastor Bill Brown and Tommy Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Riffe’s Funeral Service.
