Betty Cecil Blankenship, 72, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her home in Pulaski, Va. She was born in Snowville, Va. on May 21, 1943, to the late James R. Cecil and Bertha T. Cecil. Betty was a retired nurse of over 40 years and leaves a legacy of helping and loving others.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Nicholas W. Frazier Jr. of Fairlawn and her beloved grandson, Will M. Frazier; her brother, Robert B. Cecil and his wife, Arlene of Christiansburg, Va.; and her sister, Brenda C. Edmonds of Snowville, Va. She had many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Eddie Kendall. Burial will follow at Cecil’s Chapel cemetery in Snowville, Va.
