Blankenship, Andrea Boyd
Andrea Stella Boyd Blankenship, 63, of Cedar Bluff and formerly of Pembroke, departed this life Monday evening, November 9, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Rumford Maine on January 23, 1946 she was a daughter of the late Glenn Theodore and Aurore Marie Lucroix Landry.
A beloved homemaker, wife, and mother, she was preceded in death by her husbands Delmas Boyd and Jimmy Blankenship.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Debora Boyd Mitchell and Daniel Mitchell of Cedar Bluff, VA; her step-daughter Teresa Kinney of Newport News, VA; her grandchildren Michael Raymond, Tiffany Rose, Stella Renee, and Brittany; her brothers Adrian Landry of Pearisburg, Dennis Landry of Arkansas, Gregory Landry of Georgia; her sisters Denise Shepherd of Dayton, Ohio, Louise Beaver of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her nephews Glenn and Chi Landry.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Angels Rest Memory Gardens at Narrows. I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of Andy. She was a very nice person and very good to me. She was a great Step-mother in law to me. (I was married to Richard Lemay–Step son of Delmas Boyd) SHe was funny and querky. SHe sure loved her family, her daughter and her dogs. RIP Andy.
