Bland, Aaron Lee

Aaron Lee Bland, 40, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Logan Bland; and fraternal grandparents, Harvey and Virginia Bland. He is survived by his father, Fred Bland; two sons, Mason and Adam; brother, Jevon Monday; sisters, Andi Bland and Amy Bland; grandmother, Beulah D. Grissom; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Aaron was a sensitive, loving man and talented stonemason who spent his last months helping care for his beloved grandmother. He valued above all his children, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buford Linkous officiating.
