Bishop, Sr., Thomas Vernon

Thomas Vernon Bishop, Sr., 72, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at his home in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn McPeak Bishop; his father, Ralph Vernon Bishop; his mother, Margaret Anne Smith; and a sister.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Vernon Bishop, Jr.; brother, Joe (Tammy) Bradley; mother-in-law, Betty McPeak; brother-in-law, Moe McPeak; sister-in-law, Pam (Tommy) Lyons; special friends, Terry Slaughter and Junior (Melanie) Sites; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Dr. Rev. Paul Lane officiating.

Interment will follow in the Newbern Cemetery in Newbern.
