Bishop, Nora Lake

Nora Lake Bishop, 96, of Christiansburg passed away on August 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. ‘Hutch’ Bishop; parents, James & Mattie Young and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by sisters, Ruby Epperly and Mary Akers; step sons, Wayne Bishop and wife, Joyce, Richard Bishop and wife, Kristen; step grandchildren, Karen Brown and Kevin Bishop; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
