Bishop, Lawrence Jackson (Jack)

Lawrence Jackson (Jack) Bishop, 71, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away December 19, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Toy Bishop; and his brother, Latha Bishop.

He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Green and Judy Sizemore and husband, Glenn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters and spouses, Alleen Boyd, Catherine and Lowell Wohlford, Patsy and Ortie Boyd, and Geraldine Hylton; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Bishop; seven nieces; five nephews; and a special friend, Linda Franscisco.

Jack was dearly loved and cared for by his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Richfield Nursing and Care Center Chapel, with Chaplin Clay officiating.
