Oakley H. (Hootie) Bishop Jr., 71, of Radford, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bishop, of Radford; seven stepchildren, Brenda, Mona, Russell, Sharon, Gidget, Kevin and Janet; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; five sister; four brothers; and his very special friend, Homer D.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church with the Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, is handling arrangements.
