Billings, James Ernest "Pete"

(June 21, 1945 – February 20, 2014) Pete was born at Independence, VA, to Charles Troy Billings and Jincye Cox.

Surviving, wife, Alta Sutherland Billings of the home; his mother, Jincye C. Billings of Independence; two sons and spouses, Brian and April Billings of Elk Creek, VA, Wes and Hillary Billings of Draper, VA; three grandchildren, David Billings of Ft. Carson, Colorado, Brayden Billings of Draper, Va and Addison Billings of Draper, VA

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Lebanon United Methodist Church in Elk Creek. Rev. Bobby Lorton and Rev. Bill Shupe will officiate. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the service. Interment to follow in Lebanon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
