Margaret Sullivan Bentley, 89, of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2007, in the Highland Ridge Rehab Center, Dublin. She was born in Pulaski on May 20, 1918 and was one of 13 children born to the late James & Nannie Sullivan.

Margaret worked several places during her lifetime, including the Bag Loading Plant, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and Highland Nursing Home. Margaret was a special lady and touched many lives during her time on earth and she will be missed by so many.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bentley, by brothers, Robert, George, Bill and Eugene, by sisters, Elsie, Lou, Edna, Ruby, Daisy and Mildred and by several nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her son, Duke Bentley, Pulaski; brother, Hoite Sullivan, Pulaski.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. from the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with the Rev. David Hoover officiating. Visiting will be after the service at the cemetery. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
