Wlliam M. Bell, 83, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg, Va. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio.

Upon his completion of service in the United States Navy, during World War II, he made his home in Cleveland, Ohio, where he retired from Deluxe Printing Company. He became a resident of Christiansburg, Va. in 1993. He was a member of Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church.

His wife, two brothers, and one sister preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Lemont Bell of Cleveland, Ohio; four brothers, Joseph Bell, David (Bernice) Bell of Youngstown, Ohio, Lester (Ann) Bell of Cleveland, Ohio, and Robert Bell of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Rosalie Paige, Delores Franklin, both of Christiansburg, Va., Carol (Louis) Ware of Denver, Colo.; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held at Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church, High Street, Christiansburg, Va. at 1 :30 p.m. on August 5, 2007. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Schaeffer Memorial Missionary Ministry. The family will receive friends at the homes of Delores Franklin and Rosalie Paige.
