Belcher, Larry Graham

Larry Graham Belcher, age 71, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. Born May 17, 1947, in Greenville, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas Evan and Alka Vivian Martin Belcher.

Larry worked as an operator at Celanese in Narrows, VA. He was an avid basketball player and loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved to bear hunt with Eddie Belcher, Robert Dunlap, Jubal Powell, Steve Parcell, and Jerry Hare.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Belcher, and four brothers, Ed, Mack, Donald, and Bobby Belcher. Survivors include his loving wife, Gloria Thornton Belcher; two sons, Scott Belcher and wife Stephanie of Ballard, WV, and Brian Belcher of Rich Creek, VA; one grandson, Easton Belcher; one granddaughter, Laney Belcher; two sister-in-laws, Martha Belcher of Roanoke, VA, and Connie Belcher of Greenville, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV.
