Belcher, Diana Kay

Diana Kay Belcher, 37, of Floyd, went to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday, September 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by Grandpa John Abe Belcher, and Edwin Graham, Grandma Martha Graham. Diana was a member of Harris Chapel Methodist Church. She played the piano at church and wrote songs. Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Guy and Beatrice Belcher; stepson, Travis Rector; sisters, Renee and Timmy Akers, and Marlene Gauldin; nieces, Amanda Dulaney and Kaylee Dulaney; nephews, T.J. Vest, Travis Akers, Jonathan Gauldin, and Keelen Vest; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Maberry Funeral Home with Pastor Marcus Wood and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in Slate Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at the funeral home.
