Beckett, Maurice

Maurice Beckett, 74, of Roanoke and formerly of Blacksburg, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007.

Survivors include his son, James Maurice Beckett; step son, Larry Cox; brother, Les Beckett; grandchildren, Mike Cox, Melissa Corkhill, Brittany Beckett, Jonathan Beckett; nieces, Margaret Dinubila and family and Jeannie Forrest and family; nephew, Robert Wingo; great-grandchildren, Jacob Cox, Thomas Corkhill, Kylee Corkhill and Micah Cox.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel.
