Beckett, Claurice O’Dell

Claurice June O’Dell Beckett, 84, of Woodbridge, Va., passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Mrs. Beckett was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Cox; and brother, Bernard O’Dell.

She is survived by her children, Larry Cox and wife, Brenda, and James Beckett and wife, Karen; sister, Faye Mathews; brother, Pat O’Dell and wife, Ramona; grandchildren, Michael Cox, Melisa Cox, Brittany Beckett and Jonathan Beckett; greatgrandchildren, Jacob Cox, Thomas Corkhill, Kylee Corkhill, Micah Cox and Destiny Wood; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
