Beckelhimer, Margie Epperly

Margie Magglean Austin Beckelhimer, 99, of Ridgeway, VA, formerly of Huffville, VA, passed away at the age of 99 on September 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiley and Blanch Epperly; siblings, Herman Epperly, Harless Epperly, Edsel Epperly, Eva Conner, Virginia Epperly, and Cassidy Foster; husband, Elmon Austin; sons, Eddie Austin and Harold Austin; and daughter-in-law, Judy Austin.

Margie is survived by her children, Leon Austin of Roanoke, VA, Gerald Austin of Christiansburg, VA, and Loretta Austin of Ridgeway, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Margie worked for many years at the Imperial Reading Factory in Christiansburg. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Huffville Church, with Pastor Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in the Huffville Cemetery.
