Bean, Susan Marie

Susan Marie Bean, 52, died Tuesday (January 13, 2009) in Arlington, VA. Susan grew up in Roanoke, VA and resided in Riner. She was the daughter of the late Revs. William K. and Marie S. Bean.

She was a graduate of Northside HS and received a BS degree and a Masters in Education from Virginia Tech.   Susan loved animals and music and was an accomplished horseman and pianist.

Surviving are her son, Ryan C. Wagner of Roanoke and two brothers, Robert D. Bean of Louisa, VA and William K. Bean of Arlington.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 Sunday, January 25th at Sidney United Methodist Church, 2705 Camp Carysbrook Rd. in Riner with the Rev. Mike Waller officiating.  Rev. Frances Browne and Rev. Gleasanna Johnson will assist.   Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
