Beamer, Alice Wolfe

Alice Wolfe Beamer, 85, of Mechanicsville and formerly of Pulaski (Shiloh Community), passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007 in Mechanicsville, Va.

Born December 24, 1921 on Bland County, she was the daughter of the late Everett C. Wolfe and Nannie Bell Shrader Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Willard Beamer.

She was a previous member of the Shiloh Christian Church, Pulaski and currently a member of the Gayton Road Christian Church, Richmond. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a wonderful believer in Christ, always reflecting his belief.

Surviving is her sister, Mabel Wolfe Beamer of Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Matthew Lucas of Virginia Beach, Va., Linda and Jay Farwell of Leavenworth, Kan., and Diane and Richard Ciferno of Mechanicsville, Va.; grandchildren, Dr. Nina Beteta, Matthew Lucas, Jr., Jennifer Farwell, Jason Farwell, Jonathan Ciferno and David Ciferno; great-grandchildren, Isabel Beteta, Amanda Beteta, John Michael Beteta, and Gabriella Beteta.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Christian Church, Lowman’s Ferry Road, (Rt. 672)Pulaski with Pastor Debbie Carlton officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Shiloh Christian Church Fellowship Hall. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, July 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski.
