Bays, Dorothy Long

Dorothy Long Bays, 79, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in Carilion New River Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. (Jack) Bays. Surviving are her two daughters, Nancy Lytton, Christiansburg, and Dorothy and her husband Donald Wilson, Radford; one brother, Curtis Long, Radford; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many other loving friends and relatives also survive. Her two loving special pets, Joe Boy and Buddyroe also survive.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007 at DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
