Bauer, Woodrow Wilson

Woodrow Wilson (Woody) Bauer, 83, of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008. He served his country in the Army during World War II. Woody retired as Manager of Northrop Grumman.

He is survived by his son, Bob Bauer; two grandsons, Andrew Bauer, Nicholas Bauer; great-grandson, Sal Bauer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery, Tuggles Gap. Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Friday at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m.
