Baker, Roger Dale
Roger Dale Baker, age 70, of Blacksburg, died, Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He was born in Montgomery County on March 10, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Truman Baker, and a brother, Bruce Wayne Baker.
He is survived by his mother, Doris L. Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy Baker, Diane and Leon Linkous, Penny and Tony Thompson; brother, Joe baker; nephews, Joshua Thompson, Tyler Baker, Derek Baker; niece, Kelsey Dudley; special friends, Curtis Jones, Robbie Graham, Marty Roop.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Curt Seright officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12 P.M. on Friday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W, Blacksburg, VA.

Roger and I were cousins. Remember him with that smile and happy attitude. Rest in peace little Buddy.

Oh my heart is breaking. Sweet, sweet Roger I have always loved you & will miss you desperately. We had so many good times & good memories that I will cherish forever. You fly on “Silver Wings” now and I will never forget you.
