Baker, Linda Potts

Linda Potts Baker, 66, of Draper, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, in the Highland Ridge Nursing Home, Dublin. She was born in Giles County on October 7, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Rush G. Barrett. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Barrett. She was retired from RAAP. Surviving are her husband, Thomas G. Bake Sr.; mother, Pauline Lawson Barrett; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Todd Hylton; son, Larry J. (LJ) Potts Jr.; grandchildren, Courtney Parnell and her friend, Andrew Hunter, Austin Hylton; great-grandchild, Kenzie Hunter; many nieces, nephews and friends and relatives. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, with the Rev. Earnest Chinault officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA. 24018. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
