Baker, Harold Leo

Harold Leo Baker of Christiansburg, Va. passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 2, 2015. He was born on March 8, 1934 in Stanley, Va. and was the son of Herbert Lee and Myrtle Foltz Baker.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Layton Wilson and Owen Wilson, sisters-in-law, Emma Mae Foltz and Isabella (Belle) Kelley. He retired from Merck and Company after 30 years. Mr. Baker (Leo) attended Grove Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of the Stanley VFW and the Stanley Masonic Lodge also serving in the United States Army. On February 15, 1959 he married Agnes Christian Baker who survives. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Harriet and Jeff Price, grandchildren, Tyler, Tori and Trevor of Radford, Va. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Grove Hill United Methodist Church, Shenandoah, Va. with the Pastor Ellen Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm prior to the service.
