Donna was a force from the moment she entered the world. With red hair and an independent streak, she loved adventure. She was at her happiest surrounded by music, animals, and nature. She loved horseback riding, nature photography, traveling, and line dancing. She built her own business as a computer programmer and consultant in the 1980s – one of few women in the field at the time. Donna spent her final years in Floyd, Virginia surrounded by friends and a community she loved. An avid music lover, she played several instruments, including the Dulcimer which she learned to play in her retirement.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by so many whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
