Baker, Bruce Wayne

Bruce Wayne Baker, 59, of Blacksburg, died Monday, September 2, 2013. He was born in Christiansburg on December 14, 1953, and was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Truman Baker. He is survived by his loving mother, Doris Lois Baker, of Blacksburg; daughter, Monica Morris; sons, Rocky Baker, Brad Baker, Brandon Baker, Matthew Linkous; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy Baker of Christiansburg, Diane B. and Leon Linkous, of Riner, Penny B. and Tony Thompson, of Blacksburg; brothers, Roger D. Baker, of Blacksburg, Joseph N. Baker, of Radford; three grandchildren; niece, Kelsey Linkous; nephews, Tyler Baker, Derek Baker, Joshua Thompson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McCoy Funeral Home to help with expenses.
