Bain, Joyce Hopkins

Joyce Hopkins Bain, 78, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was a member of Church of God by Faith and a retired hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover Bain, father, Eugene Hopkins, mother, Hazel Akers Hopkins, and grandson, James Michael Mabry, Jr. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Samuel Cox of Pulaski, Barbara and Roger Gilmer of Dublin, and Deborah Garner of Sanford, NC; son and daughter-in-law, James Michael and Kathy Mabry of Rich Creek; brothers, Jerry Hopkins of Parrott and Louis Eugene “Tuney” Hopkins of Avondale, PA; stepsister, Dottie Kershner of Christiansburg; 8 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 16 great grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Matthew Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
