Bain, James Walter

James Walter Bain, 87, passed away at his home in Parrott on Wednesday April 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riner W. and Johnnie Shelburne Bain; sister, Agnes Omps; and a brother, Kenneth.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Semones Bain; brothers, the Rev. David Bain, of Natural Bridge, Carl Bain and wife, Helen, Harless Bain and wife, Anita; sister, Ocie Ratcliffe; brother in law, Jessee Semones and wife, Philis; special niece, Judy Keene and husband, Rodger; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Parrott Church of God, with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Sifford Cemetery, Parrott. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday April 27, 2012, at the church.
