Bailey, Vicky Sue
Vicky Sue Bailey, 72 of Johnson City, TN and formerly of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 18, 2022, at Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin. Vicky was born on October 7, 1949, in Narrows and was a daughter of the late Charles Raymond Bailey and Ethel Akers Bailey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Bailey East.
Vicky was a member of the North Johnson City Baptist Church and worked over 36 years for the State of Tennessee. She loved going to the beach, gardening, crafts, bible studies and bluegrass music. She also loved and enjoyed the company of her family and friends.
She is survived by one sister, Frances Bailey Britts of Pearisburg, 2 nephews, Chuck B. East of Narrows, Harry L. East, Jr. (Charlotte) of Bell Springs, 3 great nieces, Beth East Smith (Jay), Sara East Boshers (Justin), Mary East Lynn (Michael), 5 great great nieces, Jillian Smith, Kirstan Smith, Bryliegh Smith, Remington Lynn, Adley Boshers, 2 great great nephews, Gideon Smith and Rhys Boshers.
A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 3 pm at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with the Rev Gary Poff and Pastor Jay Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Vicky request that memorial donations be made to the North Johnson City Baptist Church.

I graduated Narrows High Scool 1968 with Vickey. She was a sweet and kind young lady in high school. Although we lost contact after school I suspect she was still a sweet and kind young lady through her adult life.
