Bailey, Olivia Watkins

Olivia Watkins Bailey, age 90 of Maple Street, Dublin passed away Friday, January 27, 2006 at her home. Born November 12, 1915 in Floyd, Va. she was the daughter of the late Samuel Watkins and Lula Graham Watkins.

Her husband Theodore (Bill) Bailey, four sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death. She attended the Dublin United Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Evangeline (Vangie) and Daniel Gordon, Christiansburg, Va.; grandsons, Russell Shockley, Nashville, Tenn., Thomas Shockley, Dublin, Va.; sisters, Elizabeth and Ernest Wade, Roanoke, Va. and Melissa Reed, Verona, Va.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
