Ayers, Dania Price

Dania Price Ayers of Christiansburg, passed away suddenly at her home on December 16, 2014, at the age of 51. Dania was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Kirby Lucas; and her father, David George Price.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kirk Duane Ayers; their son, Wesley Daniel Ayers and his wife, Karen; and the apple of her eye, her grandson Connor; step-father, Tommy Lucas and wife Robin, all of Christiansburg; step-mother, Cindy Price of Childress; brothers, Patrick Price and wife Peggy of McCoy, and Shane Lucas and wife, Jennifer of Christiansburg; sister-in-law, Debbie Carter of Tampa, FL; three nieces; four nephews; and one great-nephew.

Dania was born in Radford, VA, on May 10, 1963, to David Price and Betty Lucas. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother, wife and sister. Dania will be greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2014, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Celebration of Dania’s life will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Porter Riner officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
