Austin, Virginia Ann

Virginia Ann Austin, age 69 of Pulaski, died November 23, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Galax. She was born on October 3, 1943 in Charleston, SC to the late Virginia Leonell Knight Martin and McLeod Sanchez Martin.

She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked in home health.

She is survived by a sister: Karen Martin Hopkins and her husband Doug of Dallas, Texas: Nephews, Joel Hopkins and Charmaine Gantt of Richardson, Texas, and son Dorje Hopkins, and Dr. Jonathan M. Hopkins of Dallas, Texas: a niece; Elizabeth A. Hopkins of Dallas, Texas and daughter Zoe Hopkins. Also survived by numerous cousins in Charleston, SC, and a cousin in Castro Valley, CA.

Per request of Virginia Ann, her body was cremated and there will be no service.
