Austin, Devan Ray

Devan Ray Austin, 14, of Newport went to be with God Friday, July 17, 2009. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Andy Austin.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Melinda and Steve Kingrea; father, Daniel Taylor; sister, Summer Austin; brother, Andrew Austin; grandparents, Denver Sr. and Mary Jane Austin, Danny and Betty Taylor, Richard and Renee Kingrea; great-pawpaw, Doc and Marie Gaines; special uncles, Bob and Darlene Gaines, Larry Gaines, Jack Gaines, Gene and Linda Gaines, Ray and Amy Austin and Steven Bradley; many special family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at Paitsel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow at Lonestar Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Paitsel Funeral Home.
