Atkinson, Pauline Neece

Pauline Neece Atkinson, 73, of Christiansburg, died Friday, November 7, 2008 and was born on April 9, 1935 to George and Arbutis Neece, who along with brother, Marvin, have gone on to be with the Lord. Mrs. Atkinson retired after 22 years of service from security at Radford Army Ammunition Plant. She was a faithful member of Faith Christian Church of Christ.

She is survived by her loving husband, Garland C. Atkinson; daughter, Sandy Bland and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Laura Smith and husband, Andy, Travis Bland and wife, Kristal. She is also survived by four brothers, Harold Neece, Bobby Neece and wife, Ruth, Harry Neece and wife, Irene, and George Eddie Neece; several nieces and nephews, and special friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Horne Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 with Mr. Jeff White and Mr. Bobby Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
