Atkinson, Fannie Lucille

Fannie Lucille Atkinson, 84, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents, Charlie Crockett and Agnes Minnie Snider and her husband, James Junior Atkinson. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Rye and Donna Frazier; her son, Terry Atkinson; four grandchildren, Will Rye, Christina Shipman, Brian Agee, and Jamie Leigh; two great-grandchildren, Azaleigha Wright and Duncan Shipman; and numerous other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, coworkers, and friends. She was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. She loved her job at Hubble Lighting Inc. in Christiansburg, Va. where she worked for 39 years and was an active member of the IUE-CWA Local 82160 Union. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at noon. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of arrangments.
