Ashworth, Hobert L.

Hobert L. Ashworth, 86, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mom, Martha Roop; his first wife, Louise B. Ashworth; and his second wife, Lorene R. Ashworth.

He is survived by his daughter, Wilma Alderman and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Stacey Madison and David Sisson and wife, Becci; great- grandchildren, Brooke and Brandon Vannoy, Brianna and Dalton Madison, and Grace Sisson; and many other extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home with the funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Pastor Dwayne Martin will be officiating. Interment will follow in Shawsville Congregational Church Cemetery, Shawsville.
