Asbury, Kenneth Allen

Kenneth Allen Asbury, 55, of Blacksburg, formerly of Gates County, NC, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Flint, Michigan on July 25, 1962 to the late Cecil Boyd and Edythe Elaine Rodgerson Asbury. He was a fifteen year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffani Asbury; his sons, Ian and Gavin Asbury; four grandchildren, Payton, Julius, A’lani, and Ariana; his sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and John Hopkins; special nieces and nephews, Virginia, India, Nathan, and Matthew; special aunt, Helen Moore; and his loyal canine companion, Sweet Pea. A family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
