Arnold, Mina Fay Dobbins

amem_daffodils.jpgMina Fay Dobbins Arnold, 83, of 382 Gunton Park Road, Max Meadows, Va. died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 3, 2007, in the Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville.

She was born in Pulaski County on May 5, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Nat Dobbins and Nancy Bentley Dobbins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lee Arnold, by sisters, Ruth Clark, Elsie Hall, Isabella Leagans and Olena Arnold and by brothers, Bill Dobbins, Joe Dobbins, Wiley Dobbins and Andrew Dobbins. She was a member of the Gunton Park Church of God of Prophecy for 59 years.

Surviving are: daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roy Rogers, Max Meadows, son and daughter-in-law, Titus and Susie Arnold, Pulaski; sister, Mona Arnold, Max Meadows; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special niece, Barbara Ayers, Max Meadows.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery, Gunton Park. Visiting will be held Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
