Arnold, John E.

John E. Arnold Sr., age 59, who has lived in Columbus for the past 30 years, died January 17, 2006 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Mr. Arnold was born in New River, Va. on December 23, 1947 to the late Winston and Beatrice Arnold.

He was preceded in death by his son Maurice Arnold. Surviving are his wife, Addie; 2 daughters, Roberta and Justina; 4 sons, John Jr. (Linda), Jerry (Tiffany), Terry (Andrea), Dionta (Amy), all of Oh.; 2 brothers, Rev. Andrew (Pat) of Dublin and Tommy (Jackie) of Alexandria, Va.; 1 sister, Louella (Joe) Calfee; 32 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be at McCOY FUNERAL HOME, 204 S. Main St., Blackburg, Va. at 12Noon Monday, January 23. The Rev. Daryl Beemer will officiate. Family and friends will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12Noon the same day. Burial West Dublin Cemetery.
