Arnold, Elmer Junior

Elmer “Mousey” Junior Arnold was born November 15, 1930 in Wythe County, VA, and was the son of the late Anna Collins Arnold and Elmer Straley Arnold. He passed away Monday, July 7, 2008.

He was a retired employee of the Town of Pulaski having worked for many years in the street department, and was a member of the Midway Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Spence Arnold, brothers, Elroy, and Walter, and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Arnold.

He is survived by a son; Elmer Edward “Eddie” Arnold of Pulaski: daughters; Crystal Arnold of Pulaski, Rhonda Williams and her husband Frank of Pulaski, and Lisa Arnold Taylor and her husband Scott of Draper: brothers; Billy Gene Arnold of Wytheville, and Cecil Arnold and his friend Shirley Coffey of Max Meadows: sisters; Nancy White and her husband John of Pulaski and Doris Mines and her husabnd Paul of Max Meadows. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for their excellent care and kind words to the Staff and Management of Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Good Samaritan Hospice, and Dr. John Knarr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at SEAGLES. Visiting will be Tuesday here at SEAGLES from 6 until 8 p.m.
