Andrews, Marvin Wayne

Marvin Wayne Andrews, 73, of Pulaski, Va., died on Monday, June 23, 2008, at his home. He was born in Pulaski on November 22, 1934, and was the son of the late Charles Edward Andrews and Maggie King Andrews. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Arnold Darst, Howard Andrews and William Andrews.

Mr. Andrews was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp and attended the Bob White Blvd. Church of God.

Surviving are his sister, Audrey May Fisher, of Longview, Texas; and brothers, Kenneth Andrews, of Kernersville, N.C., Gene F. Andrews, of Pulaski, Va., and Donald Rayo Andrews, of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Mr. Andrews will be cremated. A memorial graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008, from the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County with the Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Visiting will be held after the service at the cemetery.
