Andrews, Jr., Ernest C.

Ernest C. (Joby) Andrews Jr., age 78 of Dublin went to his Heavenly home in the early hours of Monday, August 28, 2017. Born May 24, 1939 in Pulaski, Joby was the son of Lallie Curtis Davis, Arthur A. Davis, and Ernest C. Andrews, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lallie Curtis and Arthur A. Davis and Ernest C. Andrews, Sr., Infant daughter, Susan Andrews. His wife, Mary Elizabeth (Shirley) Andrews. Brothers, Clifford Andrews and John Henry Andrews. Sister, Genalue Burleson. Step sons, Richard E. Cox, Bryan D. Cox. Son-in-law, Billy Lawson and his special fury companion of many years, Boots.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tony Burton and Kimberly and David Winters. Step sons, Lee A. Cox and Dennis L. Cox. Sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Jr. Edwards.

Granddaughters, Brittany Lawrence, Ashlee Burton, Jessica Cox McNulty and Trista Cox. Grandsons, William Shane Lawson, Joshua Tanner Lawson, Michael A. Cox and Dustin Cox. Great Grandchildren, Michah, Samson, Joshua, Bently, Nhoa, Camdin, Preston, Aydon, Conlan and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Stevens Funeral Home at a later date.

A special “Thank You” goes out to the staff of Doctors and Nurses at Pulaski Hospital for taking such good care of our daddy.
