Anderson, William Ester

William Ester (Bill) Anderson, 68, of Pulaski died Sunday, Jan. 9 in Taylorsville, N.C. He was born in Pulaski on Feb. 28, 1942, and was the son of the late Steve Ester Anderson and Margaret Reynolds Anderson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dashawn Colbert.

Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture.

Surviving are daughters are Tania Goldsmith and husband, Hakim Newark, N.J. and Franchesca Beard and friend, Nick Higgins, Pa.; son, Larry Hunter and wife, Kim, Dentin, Texas; sister, Margaret Odessa Hunt, Pulaski; brother, Steve Michael Anderson, Pulaski; seven grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan 14 at 1 p.m. from the Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church, Pulaski, with Rev. Leroy Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinehurst Cemetery. Visiting will be Friday at the church where the family will receive friends from noon until the service hour.
