Lois Jeanette Smith Anderson, of Pearisburg, departed this earth Tuesday morning, May 29, 2012. Mrs. Anderson was born in Oakvale, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Claude Smith and Eupha Harry Smith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Lewis “Jack” Paris Anderson, Jr.; and a grandson, Isaak Paris Anderson.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Anderson and wife, Beth, Hans Anderson and friend, Johnnie Morris; two granddaughters who were her pride and joy, Rhiannon and Kayleigh Anderson, all of Pearisburg; three sisters, Marguerite Clemons, Brenda Meadows, Carolyn Clyburn and husband, Mossy; three brothers, Junior Smith, EW and wife, Dreama Smith, all of Oakvale, W.Va., Leon and wife, Wanda Smith, of Glen Lyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg, with the Rev Olen Robertson officiating, with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m.
