Anderson, Jarrett Martin

Jarrett Martin Anderson, 31, of Blackburg, formerly of New Castle, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 24, 2016. Jarrett proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years, during which he was deployed to Afghanistan to serve for Operation Enduring Freedom.

Jarrett was passionate about music, Hokie football and loved to travel.

He was preceded in death by his father Martin Anderson; grandparents Selma and Patricia Kelley and Joseph and Elva Anderson.

He is survived by mother Debra Lynn Anderson; sister Natalie Michelle Anderson; best friend Richard Jones; special friends Charla and Autumn Bryan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, July 1, 2016 at S.W. Virginia Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Paitsel Funeral Home. www.paitselfh.com
