Anderson, Danny Ray

Danny Ray Anderson, 65, of Pulaski, died on Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Lewis Gale Hospital-Pulaski. He was born on January 11, 1946, in Pulaski, and was the son of the late Frankie Ellen King Anderson and Robert Clifton Anderson.

He was employed with Cavalier Supply Company in Pulaski where he had served as President. He was a graduate of the 1964 Class of Pulaski High School and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Vaughan Anderson; a son, Daniel Eric Anderson and his wife, Liz, of Centerville; a daughter, Ashley Renee Anderson, of Pulaski; a brother, Billy (Bill) Dyer Anderson and his wife, Dianne, of Kingsport, Tenn. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Anna Helen Anderson and Tessa Jane Anderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, August 3, 2011, at the Thornspring United Methodist Church with the Rev. Theresa Tolbert and the Rev. Olin Whitener officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Danny’s memory to the charity of your choice.
