Anders, Joe Harold

Joe Harold Anders, 66, of Galax, Passed away February 1, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1948 in Grayson County VA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Suzi Bobbitt; father and step-mother, Bill and Dare Billings.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Burcham Anders of the home; children, Tim Anders and his wife, Dolly and Shanna Christman and her husband, Rodney, all of Galax; brothers, Junior Billings, Jimmy Billings, and Michael Burcham; sisters, Carol Sumner, Billie Teti, Sherry Johnson, Marylynn Wilkie, Sue Bobbitt, Brenda Payne, and Debi Farmer; Grandchildren, Phillip, Kayla, Alison, Joey, James, Rodney, Jr., and Brandon; Great Grandchildren, Isaac, Tyler, Derick, Madalyne, and Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015, 11:00am at Camp Zion Church. Pastor Rodney Christman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Camp Zion Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6-8pm at Camp Zion Church
